Political PosterWhat you see here is an illustration made to represent immigration to America. My life has always revolved around that topic, especially with being the child of two proud Honduran immigrants. As a little girl, I never really understand much of what was going on. I never saw the struggle that my parents were going through to maintain two young girls. Now that I am older, I understand and respect their decisions and motives. They left Honduras because it wasn't safe and they saw no future for themselves or for their children. I illustrated a person covered in a quilt with flags sewed on it before a fence that is placed in front of the American Flag. The many flags on the quilt is to represent the many immigrants that come into America.
